MEDI-FUTURE, Inc., sees growth in exports

 to Asian, Middle Eastern and African markets.

 MEDI-FUTURE, Inc., Korea’s only dedicated women’s healthcare company, is continuing to expand 

its presence around the world, showing increased exports of its Brestige full-field digital mammography system, 

to emerging markets in Asia, the Middle East, and recently Africa.

Brestige, together with a complete LeadStereo biopsy guidance system, was purchased this past May 

by ADAMA General Hospital in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Ethiopia has a population of 85 million, 

the third largest in Africa after Nigeria and Egypt, and is showing significant economic growth due to major government investments - equal to 10% of total domestic production - in infrastructure construction. It is expected that Brestige’s recent entry into the Ethiopian market will be key to the future expansion of MEDI-FUTURE’s sales network in African markets.

  MEDI-FUTURE also made a successful entry into the Turkish digital mammography market

 this past May as it was successfully selected in a government tender. 

Turkey will play a strategic role in increasing MEDI-FUTURE’s market share both in Asia and the Middle East.

MEDI-FUTURE signed a three-million-dollar deal in Iran last year, and despite financial sanctions, successfully won a government tender and displayed the potential of products “Made in Korea.” 

In addition, Brestige will be installed in a university hospital in Taiwan later this year.

With the rate at which medical technology in Korea is advancing, MEDI-FUTURE’s Brestige can be expected in the near future to dramatically increase its role in women’s breast healthcare and provide hope to more women around the world.
